If u gonna rip someone off, at least, put some effort!

One Utama's Noodle Town While Marsha is being held by a head-lock in order for me to drink my "Hong Kong White Coffee" in peace, I couldn't help but wonder... why the heck is this coffee RM2.30? It DOES NOT taste any special. I could've sworn it's just plain coffee. It's served in a plain mug. WHY RM2.30? It looks AND TASTES, just like a RM0.80 coffee. Yeah yeah, a Starbuck's Grande coffee is like Rm12-ish, but you could see the effort there. This one? Bah! "I put ze coffee, sugar, milk and wallahh... I name it HongKee cuffiee. 2 ringggit and 30 sen, pleeez."

The oooohhhh factor

Westin Hotel, KL Toilet Bowl: Kohler. Cutleries: WMF. Waahh.

Yeah, I realize that I shouldn't put those 2 in the same line... but, really... cool hotel. Definitely THE coolest hotel that I've stayed. Imagine this: lobby and elevator music... acid jazz. Oooohhhhhhh.....

Bukit Merah Family Outing

Spent 2 nites during the weekend at Bukit Merah Laketown Resort with my family and the in-laws. BIG FAT fun (mainly coz I ate TOO MUCH!). Great hospitality from the resort people. Recommended. Note to Marsha: Don't scream at Mommy. Just let her tidy your hair.

It Really Matters (Part 1).... Listening

Simple solutions are often overlooked. Listening is one of the most important element of happiness. Find a partner who is willing to listen to you and all other good things will fall into place ;-)

Friends = Good Time = Happy :)

Just had a BBQ party at my house with my good friends [i.e. people who have nothing to prove and does not interrupt]. It was full with cozy and warm conversations, that we didn't need to have any music :-) Now, that's how you spent time with real friends.

Puma I'm in love.

Dressed up to the eyes, it's a wonderful surprise
To see your shoes and your spirits rise.
Throwing out your frown, and just smiling at the sound
And as sleek as a shriek, spinning round and round
Always take a big bite, it's such a gorgeous sight
To see you eat in the middle of the night
You can never get enough, enough of this stuff
It's Friday I'm in love!
- The Cure's Friday I'm In Love

Cloud 9. Just saw a Puma that swept my heart away at KLCC yesterday. If only it weren't RM229... one day, perhaps...

Appearance Vs. Confidence

As we began to discover ourselves from within, identifying our strengths, knowing where we stand, we gain confidence. A Nobel-prized bio-chemist COULD look like a rabbit in front of a car mechanic & vice versa (though I can't think of a reason why a car mechanic would want to see a bio-chemist). But it takes a while for a person to whelm into this phase. So, usually, before this happen, we rely on appearance i.e. moustache, ghottie, long or colored hair & etc. to give confidence. Especially young people. Me? Well, being bald doesn't sap my confidence... as I keep telling myself :-)

Happiness from being BALD!

Everyone is seeking happiness. If it can be sold for RM199.99, it would probably out-sold Big Gulp on daily basis. But today, my happiness came at RM523.00. THAT was the amount that I collected for balding my head. And all of that, will go to the Foundation for Special Children, here, at my hometown. So, today, I got my happiness from... balding my head :-)
